How do I get my store into Nesta Market?
Clone it. Give us the URL of a live store you already run and the whole storefront comes across — products with their full image galleries, categories, content and legal pages, navigation menus, theme and branding, homepage layout, promotional banners, blog posts, SEO metadata, social links, shipping zones and methods, tax rules and store settings. It then publishes the storefront and runs a parity check that fetches the cloned pages and images to confirm they render. You can also add products one at a time, by hand or by uploading a photo and letting AI draft the listing.
What platforms can I clone from?
Coverage depends on the source, and it is not equal. Ecwid and Shift4Shop have dedicated adapters and get the fullest coverage. Shopify brings across the catalogue and content pages only — no theme, homepage layout, banners, shipping or tax. Anything else, including WooCommerce, Squarespace and BigCommerce, falls back to a best-effort browser scrape that gets products, basic branding, navigation, pages and SEO metadata. How do I know the clone actually worked?
Every step reports back as ok, partial, skipped or failed. A job that reaches the end with something missing is marked “completed with gaps”, not “completed” — we would rather tell you what didn't come across than let you find out from a customer.
Does cloning bring my payment methods and shipping rates?
Payment methods import as disabled placeholders with no credentials — you reconnect each provider yourself before taking money. Shipping rates that the source store quoted live through a carrier import disabled rather than being guessed at, so you never accidentally offer free shipping worldwide. Sizes and colours do come across: options are rebuilt as sellable variants carrying their own price steps.
What payment methods are supported?
Nesta Market takes payment through PayPal. Connect your own PayPal account from your store settings.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. Connect your own domain, verified with a DNS record, or use a Nesta Market subdomain.
How does AI product analysis work?
Upload a product image and our AI will analyze it to suggest a product name, description, category, pricing, and tags. You can edit the suggestions before saving.
What does it cost?
Nesta Market is a paid product. While we are invite-only, invited members are free and we don't hold card details — but that is a launch arrangement, not a permanent one. Paid plans are expected to start at $20 per month for a store. You will be told what your store costs, and get to decide, before you are ever charged.
Response times
While we're invite-only the member group is small and we answer email directly. If something is broken on a live store, say so in the subject line and it goes to the front of the queue.
